Scraper Gold is a fully automated breakout Expert Advisor built only for gold (XAUUSD). It does not try to predict the whole move. It waits at proven swing highs and lows and takes a clean slice of momentum when price breaks through.
No grid. No martingale. No averaging. Every order has a hard Stop Loss and Take Profit from the moment it is placed.
How it works
On every new H1 or M15 candle, the EA scans recent H1 price history for swing highs and lows that price has not broken yet.
It places a Buy Stop just below the swing high and a Sell Stop just above the swing low, with SL and TP attached.
Nothing opens until gold actually moves through the level.
Once a trade is in profit, an engine-specific trailing stop follows price and locks in gains.
Old or invalid pending orders are removed automatically (expiry, session end, Friday close, news).
4 breakout engines in one EA
Scrap A – Short-term structure breakout. Scans every new H1 candle and works several breakout levels in a trend.
Scrap B – Session breakout with confirmation. Each level must be confirmed on two scans and is traded only once. Active 01:15–22:15 server time.
Scrap C – Medium swing breakout, searching up to 200 H1 bars. Skips levels already broken by the current candle.
Scrap D – Major structure breakout, targeting the big levels the whole market watches.

🔥NEW IN v3.7 – Fixed Entry profile (new default)
Fixed Entry is the new default profile for all four engines: optimised fixed entry distances with wider stop loss, take profit and trailing, so trades get more room to develop.
– Scrap A: up to 5 open positions; a new pending order is only added when it is better than every waiting Scrap A order.
– Scrap B: trades are closed when the Scrap B session ends, plus a short pause after each closed trade.
– Scrap B, C and D keep their waiting pending order while a trade is running, so the next breakout is never missed.
4 engine profiles – choose per engine
Fixed Entry (default) – fixed entry distances, wide exits and the v3.7 engine rules.
Classic – the original behaviour of earlier versions.
Adaptive Entry – entry distance adjusts itself to recent closed trades.
Wide Exit – later and wider trailing stop, with its own SL/TP per side.
Profiles can be mixed, for example Scrap C on Wide Exit and the other engines on Fixed Entry.
Full control per engine (new in v3.7)
Direction: Buy and Sell, Buy only or Sell only.
Custom exit: set your own SL, TP, Trail Start, Trail Distance and Trail Step.
Money management: Fixed Lot, Risk Percent or Risk per Balance (lots grow automatically with your account; default 0.01 lot per 1,000).
Optional lot reduction of 25% or 50% for weeks with major news.
Built for real execution
Slippage compensation (new in v3.7): the EA measures your broker’s fills and fine-tunes entry and trailing distances automatically. Choose OFF / Soft / Medium (default) / Hard.
Virtual trailing stop (new in v3.7): if the broker refuses to move the SL closer because of stop or freeze levels, the EA keeps the level and closes the trade at market when price reaches it.
Broker checks before every order: volume limits, stop level, free margin and MT5 OrderCheck. Pending orders that would no longer have enough free margin are removed before they trigger.
Automatic support for 2-decimal and 3-decimal gold quotes and symbol suffixes (XAUUSD+, XAUUSDm, XAUUSD.r …).
Protection
Hard SL and TP on every order, plus a trailing stop that only moves in the profitable direction.
Spread filter: Scrap C and D place no orders while spread is above 80 points.
High-impact USD news filter (optional): pauses new entries around all high-impact USD news or only the events you select (FOMC, CPI, NFP, PCE, PPI, GDP, Retail Sales, ISM). Uses the MT5 calendar with web and local-cache backup.
Weekend protection: pending orders are removed before your broker’s own Friday session close, on any broker time zone.
Daily loss limit (optional): when equity falls a set % below the day-start balance, the EA removes its pending orders, can close its own positions and pauses until the next server day. Ideal for prop firm rules.
On-chart dashboard (3 styles)
PRO Gold panel (default): live engine status (Scanning / Armed / In Trade), account health, margin, and P/L and performance per engine.
Full and Compact modes add execution statistics per engine: entry slippage (last, average, worst), slippage cost and terminal ping.
The dashboard is display only and never affects trading.
